Compensation Claims for Negligent Surgery

Furthermore, an inexperienced surgeon may cause damage during the procedure such as injury to a nerve or cutting through a bile duct during a gallbladder operation or incorrect positioning of an implant.
Failing to adhere to guidelines regarding the positioning and re-positioning of a patient during extended surgery may cause the patient to suffer compartment syndrome which, without immediate attention may result in reduced mobility.
